Posted by: David - Thursday, September 21, 2006 Last night was absolutly amazing. Myself, Jordan, and Pete went to go see Bad Religion here in Ottawa. They played a whole shit load of great songs. Near the end while the rest of the band were taking showers Greg Graffin played some solo Bad Religion songs on the acoustic guitar. The last two acts gave me nothing but chills down my spine. The act before were the Dropkick Murphy's. I've never heard any of their music before, but just the act enough makes me want to start. So I'll check out their albums. This really takes the cake, and pisses me off to the point where I can't think. My mother usually puts the turtle in the pool out back so we can watch it swim around, well while I was at work she stuck it in and left it there for a while. While she was inside it climbed up on a piece of wood got out of the pool, now it's gone. So my turtle will be dead by nightfall. Great thinking mom, DUH! Is this a good sign or what? To top that off I do about an hours worth of work in this 8 hour shift, so most of the time I do nothing. I really do feel like getting piss drunk, piss drunk with friends, piss drunk and loving it. I need a little excitement in my life, and I can't get the same here as I did at University. But, the good thing is I've collected a whole pile of good friends. Whom I'm going to invite up for a BBQ. So when I get back in shape and lose all of this god damn weight I put on from the cafe food, myself, pete, kamal and marie will hang out here. One thing that's bothering me, meeting someone at a place like residence for the first time can be a thrilling experience. More people the better, but I've been thinking of meeting someone I know of but haven't met. (Sorry Meg, not you) It's been going on for a couple years, not much talk about the topic but it was thought of. So hopefully the summer would be a good time for me and her to hang out. I'm not asking for anyones opinion on this, it's going to happen, just when is something that's up in the air. I guess this would be similar to how Ryan met Shalini, I just hope it goes as well as I want it too ... Anyhow, I'm going to find a reason to get piss drunk. Damn you bastards, come back to town! This, like every time I do assignment is the case. For some odd reason I always leave assignments to the last minute, I really can't help doing it. I've had two weeks to work on these assignments and I'm doing them 2 days before they are due. To make matters worse I got 2 assignments (one I've handed in today) due on my birthday (Mar 9th). My main problem is that the math courses I did really didn't turn out as well as I planned. So I ended up having to drop the Math courses for this semester and replace them with electives. So, this isn't fun for me. But I think I got my game back together. Oh speaking of which, I got myself a website! Uhh, yeah I know what you're thinking and I'm not going to be removing this blog. It's still going to be here and be updated. My other website is going to be more of a professional yet classy portfolio of my projects up to date.
